When you state that others should not, it immediately shifts focus from the OP, places blame on others, and instantly provides the "victim" the card they will now play. Everything after, "others should not" is basically ignored. The rest of the message is lost. Confirmation bias.
Anyway, it is a public forum. All opinions welcomed and glad to see a new perspective. It would be a rather dull place if everyone simply posted the same advice.
