Through a friend - he had nowhere to live so my parents said he could move in with us for about a week so he could sort himself out. (I hardly knew him at the time) ... it's been seven months now, and we've just got together

Through a girlfriend. She called her brother to pick us up at the beach and he sent his buddy instead. It was love at first sight! Forty years later, and we are still together!

On a train. I was moving to Richmond, VA. Had been staying with my friend until I found an apartment. Then I took the train back home to MD to get some of my things and wait until my lease started officially. He was travelling to Boston to see a friend. Train was oversoold and they made me move my stuff so he could sit with me.

He noticed me first and after a few days built enough courage to "accidentally" run into me in the elevator of our building. I couldn't turn down his invitation for a "cup of coffee and French pastries"...

I met my partner in college. Him, me and my best friend were a little trio. Best friends. Inseparable. Never really saw him as a boyfriend, but about a year later..feelings start to develop as we started hanging out more often as just the two of us. It was then we realized that we really liked each other and decided to go on a couple of dates and try it out..now we have been dating for about a year and a half and are moving in together in August. Pretty sure this is "the one" and it feels amazing

I met mine on a forum on the internet. I'm from England and he's from Australia. I went over to Aussie last year for six months, and now he's over in England for a few years looking for work.

As far as I know, he's the one for me
