Interesting, so there we have VR environments for pain, corresponding with internally-generated environments through hypnosis, and VR desentisation, corresponding to dissociative trauma approaches such as the Rewind Technique.

What does it cost to create these VR systems? I have no doubt they are very effective, but can you see the PCTs forking out for them? On the other hand, a hypnotherapist can help someone create a custom virtual world at "virtually" no cost. You'd think this would be a "no brainer". Sadly, that's what there seems to be out there: no brains!
