Me too. We moved here just a few months ago and I'm still so thankful, because where we were living before (with my mother-in-law) was very stressful for all three of us.

Indeed after a point in aging living with parents become problematic I'm too glad that I live alone though I would like to see my mother more often

Next time you see her, why don't you go out somewhere for a coffee or something to eat, and both of you invite someone else along?

... the slightly warmer temperature which has thawed all the snow. It could have gone the other way and turned to ice.

I used to like snow very much when I was a child I even cried sometimes when snow melted

Yes, I liked show when I was a child, too. I still think it's pretty but I don't like to be out in it these days.

We used to live on a hill. There were lots of children on the street and we all had toboggans. It was great fun and I don't remember feeling cold.

I am grateful for your friendship, too.

Yes I too still like snow..those winter nights and snow. It's nice to have a walk under snow then enjoying warmth of home watching snow out and drinking a hot beverage hot chocolate maybe. When I was in primary school with one year break two times there was heavy snow in the city I live snow stuck to ground for a month those two years I was a child at all and still miss those days I was very happy then..
