Im not sure how i feel really.
I feel usueless because i went out on my own and was a bit of a spare part for a bit, but i feel good that i managed to go out on my own.
I enjoyed the evening, but it bothers me that i only started to feel comfortable after i was drunk. No girl is ever going to go for a guy who is only ever slightly ok when drunk.

Well done for going out on your own Rick! It's great you managed to enjoy the evening even just for a bit.

Try not to tell yourself like "no girl is ever going to go for a guy who is such and such..." It's very easy to fall into black & white thinking like that when you are depressed. Because you have not been well it's going to be difficult to suddenly become confident, so take small steps at a time. If the alcohol helps you to relax a bit on the way, well thats ok!

I think you have made a good start by going out alone. Take care xx

, Halloween it is not very popular in Spain, ho. I also sent Mike a Halloween e-card with a story about us, and I was expecting one from him, he never sent me back any ... :cry:
