paul mckenna's book helped me by teaching me method on changing the pictures in my head.and the thing i tell myself like i can't do it because..... (you know the rest) to im going to at least try. it also taught me how to see myself differently, and reconise my inner critic and negative thoughts. it also teaches you to relax with its free cd.dont get me wrong i still have panic attacks but im heading in the right direction. i tend not to run away so quickly, which as helped me stay in some cases till my panic goes which is a lovely feeling it really builds your confidence and gives you hope. i think its a book for after you've learnt what all the physical feeling are all about ie the dry throat, sweats, light headedness....ect and what causes then, so you know your not going to die and that will be one worry off your mind.
Paul mcKenna, isn't he that hypnotist bloke of tele that makes people act like chickens. thats what i first thought but its nothing like that. all im saying is it helped me,so i hope it does the same for someone else. try staying till you have two panic attacks
