Self awareness model

Postby Kees27 » Sun Mar 28, 2004 6:29 am

A few years ago I remember seeing a model of the human body made to represent our self-awareness of each body part. The parts that we're aware of most like our hands, mouth, and feet are all really big and other parts that we hardly ever think about are represented small. It's a very strange looking character as you can imagine. Recently I've been scouring the Internet looking for one of these models but have no idea where to look or what to call it, I thought somebody here might know what I was talking about and could point me in the right direction.

Thanks,
Kees

Yes! That's him. Thank you soooo much. I had no idea it was so researched. It's really interesting.

I'm a 3-D animator and I want to model it and use it in a short story. I'll definitely have to write a story that reflects Penfield's research. This should be fun. Thank you very much :)
