30, single, childless and panicked

Postby higginss » Wed Dec 22, 2021 9:57 pm

Feels like everyone around me is in a committed relationship with kids and I'm honestly starting to get a lot of anxiety about running out of time....can anyone else relate? :-/

Mad at myself for wasting so much time in dead end relationships with men that I knew weren't marriage/father of my children material........

Someone once told me I should be the last person to advise about relationships. Her argument was, "You're not in a relationship."
She has a good point. Besides that my approach to psychology is mostly clinical and not as a life coach.
Offhand though I'd say too many people rush into all of this and wind up as single parents. I know a really nice, hardworking girl who had a son through her partner and now she's a single mother. Her ex helps out but the relationship faded.
It's worth waiting for the right person I guess.
