what to eat

Hi there!
I just was writing about what food has been beneficial to balance out my body. For one, B-complex (with Valerian Root and other calming herbs is best!) morning and night with a spoonful of protien like peanut or almond butter. Also I've been taking calcium magnesium in liquid form (two tablespoons about a day or whatever is recommended). They've been helping alot plus I've been eating a little more protein than usual - but in the form of nuts and fish. And really green foods are great for you like raw spinach in your salads. I drink Naked Juice's the "Green Machine" to get alot of good fruits and spirulina...plus it tastes great. I know this all sounds really simple...but it's been helping my body calm down a little bit. Also if you drink alot of caffeine, that can really irritate your body and wear your body out. When you have anxiety, you're already worn out enough!!! I quit coffee a bit ago and I do notice a big change - I'm not as high-strung as I used to be!!!

Hi ktarch

You're so right, food is key in managing anxiety. I'm a keen fan of regular protein myself - great for stable blood sugar.
