Staying in or drinking out?
I just wonder if drinking out damages my mental health..I know this has been asked many times by me and the answer is probably yes but I'm so bored drinking out is one of the few things I enjoy.

Alcohol's a well-known depressant, but pleasant in small quantities. People make a big deal about drinking alone, but why should you have to deprive yourself just because you live on your own? I've done plenty of solitary drinking in my time and if I overdid it I was sorry the next day, but wouldn't describe myself as having been alcohol-dependent at any stage. Some people get into trouble with it, some don't.

It seems the trouble starts if you think of the bottle as your friend, ie. it's a substitute for company or a way of avoiding other people. I know you enjoy drinking, and posting here. So do I. I also like to do things with my friends.

There doesn't seem to be much positive people contact in your life. You often refer to your co-workers as 'jerks'. I think life would be more satisfying for you if you had more people -- real people, not online friends -- in your life. There's nothing quite like a good laugh or a sympathetic connection for getting rid of sadness and anxiety.

Now the day after I drank beer I feel regretful. .I might damage my recovery. It's just when boredom takes control and push me to do something I try to avoid. Every time it happens so. About loneliness I'm happy alone I don't need other people as long as loneliness causes intense need to communicate with someone..This doesn't happen because I talk to people at work like my room friend etc.

What are you recovering from?

It's just when boredom takes control and push me to do something I try to avoid.

It's not just a question of avoiding harmful things. That creates a vacuum (empty space) so you have to put some beneficial activities into your life.

You spend the majority of your waking life at work and worrying about it. It would be good to shift the balance, if you can.

I talk to people at work like my room friend etc.

I'm glad to know you have a RL contact who isn't a jerk!

What do you do with your free time? What hobbies do you enjoy?

Drinking beer or green tea doesn't count.

I like high tech..surfing on net, online shopping, reading about mysteries of world and history, browsing high tech products etc..I would enjoy those if I haven't anhedonia..

Sounds like most or all of that is online activity. That's not great for your mind or your body. Just saying. ;)
