Drained

Postby Rosie79 » Wed Jun 23, 2021 5:30 am

I just spent nearly 2 hours writing a heavy going post , looking for advice. It was so hard to put into words and even harder to keep it short.
I pressed save draft ,just incase ,then submit , then it vanished unsaved . I have no words left . I'll maybe try again next month .

Did you feel any benefit from writing down your thoughts? Sometimes seeing what you think and feel on 'paper' can be beneficial.... also, why wait a month to start again?

I really did feel better, I write quite a lot and usually have the intention of sending it to someone or posting it somewhere but I change my mind after I'm finished . I hate the idea of boring people and I think it can be quite an intense process writing about my childhood , I've never really dealt with anything so finding words isn't easy !
It's a very therapeutic thing to do though . Thank you for asking

I've had this experience so often that I ctrl-A and ctrl-C whenever I make a long post.
Or you could write it on a word doc before posting.
