This on Yandex. I find the impact of these protests seems to disappear from Google. The yandex.com search engine shows much more footage. Here, major unrest in France. Allow time for the video to load.

Looking at those scenes of clear social fragmentation (and threat of civil war, you have to ask: How on earth can those policies further the interests of a population? It simply alienated the masses and divided society.

What's done? The French have always been hostile to authoritarianism, so to see them demonstrating isn't unusual. The French authorities are very mindful of the people because they had a revolution in their history and that always remains as a possibility. The English are much more accepting of authority and are servants to the monarchy. If you step back from the hysteria, it's the fact they can and are demonstrating that shows we are not in a dictatorship... the American militia dressed as police are worse at suppression imo.

Conspiracy theorists believe the rioters are actors. They tend to not accept reality. Supposedly the 1917 Bolsheviks were actors too. In an actual war conspiracy theorists would deny any victories as "staged".

That's a conspiracy in itself... to distort the truth or reality. Have you watched Hypernormalisation? It goes in to this phenomenon, where we are bombarded with information to the point where we don't k ow what's real anymore... a tactic used by Trump et al... hence fake news etc.
The French have history as I say.

I think the virus hysteria and the conspiracies are both caused by lifestyle and especially the internet. Evolution demands we must adapt to threats by fight or flight as stoneage men had to do. Modern man is sedate, unchallenged and passive - just as H.G.Wells predicted.
Basically the Covid phenomenon is a neurosis of fear and isolation. As to the conspiracy theorists, their battles seem to be confined to a laptop. Information is swapped around - most of it from non scientific sources.
My best bet is if the net disappeared and people again assumed a role in life and some risk, the neurotic hysteria would fade. As it is, society is dominated by stuff like Facebook with far less interaction in real life.

Of course, my secret is I already suffered hysteria and delusional thinking. It took years to cope and realise how psychology can explain such experience. However, people on the street are suffering collective hysteria. I guess they must be baffled why I remain bored by it all. So many of these cases I see are clear psychosomatic hysteria. As I experienced psychosomatic illness, I now know the context. It baffles me psychologists today have been so ill-informed on hysteria. In the Soviet Union it was all researched in detail.
So, I literally never worry about these so-called killer viruses. Should I ever get infected, I'll be sure to retract my words. As to conspiracy, it's a neurotypical thing, I think. As always some "leader" emerges and the followers assume Mr X has all the answers. There's a lack of independent analysis or questioning of the cult leader's bizarre but charming claims.

Nice to know you're not alone. Google news was claiming a low turn-out in France. I found this. You can see here opposition is going to be on a massive scale.

A few people I know report significant health problems after tbe vaccine. I say nothing. As stated, for me this was always an easy choice as I spent decades already socially remote and nothing to lose. Those who have jobs and kids have a tougher battle. I think very many just tell themselves they want it because to admit it's a forced vaccine is too sinister to face up to. Then, many others tend to suffer hypochondria anyway so just make a choice in line with that.
For some, the health side effects are real. Sadly they have no compensation or legal protection.
The move to vaccinate children against parental consent would force me to remove kids if I had any. The reason being the claims don't add up at all. Many parents already know kids are hardly affected so risk of intoxication by vaccine is far higher a risk factor. Plus, it's admitted this so-called vaccine doesn't stop transmission. So why risk the health of minors?
If I have a conspiracy theory of my own, the way I see it is drug companies milking profits by feeding hysteria and exaggerating all the issues. So far a lot of people are waking up to the reality but time will tell how things may play out. One woman I know will lose her job shortly as she's anti vax but most people around her are on her side (myself included).

You're not alone in that one!

Also a depopulation agenda. Some say we're ultimately to be "reduced" by about 90%.
Transferral of even more money from the poorer to the already filthy rich.
An experiment in transhumanism: robotised and weaponised Homo deus.

Assuming there is an agenda, history tends to show things go wrong. For example, the "war on terror". I remember the speeches and calls to rally round but surely there's a lesson? Would I trust those morons in government to decide what pharmaceuticals are safe? Not likely! Do they assume some right to link employment to vaccines? Apparently so. However, it appears the first big mistake is to expect a capitalist system to function without sufficient benefit to those who labour? I know people who are leaving their jobs over this issue and food shortages increase. Less drivers and probably a pending NHS crisis.
