That's true.
If an animal were suffering as much as you are, its owner would either shoot it, or take it to the vet to have it "put to sleep".
Have you investigated this possibility with your doctor?

I wouldnt like to be shot but sleeping sounds nice. Doctors want patients to stay at hospital to charge money and so to be praised by their management.

"Put to sleep" in English means given an injection that will kill the animal painlessly.
