My Practice

Postby StepVheN » Mon Mar 19, 2012 3:10 pm

Not conventional really in that it's all taken from my own personal journeys with people My work in Philosophy and Linguistics and the facts of my life.

Here's a bit thats helpful for nagging contrafactual questions:

It's on my blog burning true and is called Methodologies- Destruction.

If anyone wnats to discuss, the post-self framework I put forward on the blog either. I'd be happy to do so

I read the blog ..& its a good one! Stepvhen's philosophy is interesting, in particular this train of thought below -

quote "There is no self. You cannot fill that hole. What you need to do instead is to look at those questions you are asking and eliminate them. Not by putting them aside but by discovering what you need to know in order for the question to be pointless "

In my own personal experience and from observation - the experience of others. Our lives are an almost ongoing if not relentless series questions & obstacles. And I agree we should not put them aside.. people do this too often & when we do this we short change ourselves because its precisely at this time that we then stop 'living' (experiencing proper) and instead begin only 'existing' as says the quote -

" look at those questions you are asking and eliminate them. Not by putting them aside but by discovering what you need to know in order for the question to be pointless "

Because its only when we discover what we need to know - that we move on to the next chapter in our lives .. realising Spiritual, Mental, & or Emotional "growth" (whichever term we choose ) the question becomes pointless because its the 'growth' which is the purpose to our lives

Stepvhen thank you for sharing your thoughts :)
