Ocean of depression

Cold water scars my skin twisting itself around my body and pulling me deeper in. On occasion kind warmth radiates my skin scattering gentle kisses across my frozen skin. My screams are lost and my tears dance with the waters, few notice me and those that do rarely find time to reach into to darkness below. I force myself towards your outstretched hand but by the time I make it to the surface your gone and the current has pulled me back into the angry ocean.

As I fall deeper into the water. I notice the way the caves around me form twisting into Magnificant shapes. Thin plants twist themselves around shattered rocks and some part of me is at peace. For a second I feel I am not alone, then that thought terrifies me for I know monsters are lurking in the darkness.

I gasp for air, but every breath burns my lungs as they fill with water. I slowly watch the world fade away and my body goes numb. Occasionally light seeps in for the sun miles above me a sort of hope, but hope isn't worth much now. My body goes numb as my life fades away. I'm sorry I couldn't be strong, but I'm done with acting the right way to the wrong situations.
