i do but because iv been through hell recently as you know, just knowing i have to go through a different type of hell, when things are finally good puts me off. really want to but dont know when. does that make sense.

my mum stopped recently after 45 years ! she said she hadnt wanted to stop before that

god how fantastic thats brill, i have been smoking for 25 years i always thought i would stop and it hadnt been long til i actually thought about it when i was coming up to 40! i really hate it.... ed doesnt smoke so thats a help or should be. He doesnt nag me as he says its down to me.

Been smoking since I was 11, I'm 52 this year, and I finally dived in!!!!

Haven't had one for 6wks tomorrow, been using patches and inhalator (which deals with the need for a ciggie NOW!)

Started just before going on the sick with anxiety/depression, so timing wasn't great, especially with all the chemical changes in the body which really seemed to screw things up, but tell you what - it's really worth it just to taste & smell food properly, as well as knowing that, by this time next year, I will have halved my chances of a heart attack or stroke.

Which is what started the anxiety in the 1st place :oops:

You can do it, but rely on your GP as well as your friends.
