Just need to get something off of my Chest

Hello Uncommon Knowledge Readers

I don't have anyone I can confide in so I am posting this here just to get it out of me otherwise I'm going to explode...

I am Jobless, well behind in a lot of Bills and doing Ubereats Delivery to try to pay the Rent and get some of the Bills paid off.

So I am astounded tonight (Sunday) to see that I've done a really good week financially on the Uber but have no Money to stand for it...

I'm Guilty as charged on the Subject of sometimes buying something and forgetting I did, or spending a little too much in one week on Fast Food (which given my current situation, I shouldn't be spending a cent on Fast Food, but that's Eating Addiction I guess).

So I decided tonight to list all my Debit Transactions on my Bank Website for the last 7 days and go through each one; tallying up how much I have spent ONLY on Fast Food (No Supermarket or grocery spending included)

You know what it came out to????

$397

THREE HUNDRED AND NINETY SEVEN DOLLARS in a 7 Day Period

I feel so Dirty and Pissed off at myself.

Rant Over
Thank you for listening.

You're up against it now, as are many of us.

If KFC were one one side of me and Burger King on the other, I doubt I'd eat anywhere else.

Don't underestimate the role of maliciously induced stress in all of this.

I'm addicted to food too. I tried to stop it once but nearly starved to death. I'm addicted to water aswell.
The problem with self diagnosis of addiction is it allows you to not accept responsibility for what you do, because " I'm an addict", so I can't help it.... you can, but not until you accept responsibility for your choices.
