Self Hypnosis for deep sleep without dreams

Postby charlieshins » Thu Sep 28, 2017 11:25 am

Hi Guys,

new and here because of my interest in self hypnosis. I need some input. I was a heavy cannabis user for about 8 years. I finally managed to stop and im about 5 - 6 months clean. As a matter of fact, i took the opportunity to stop cannabis, tobacco and alcohol all at the same time, and im
determined to NEVER touch them again.

Now, about two weeks after this initial achievement, i started to have the most vivid dreams about everything and anything, and they are still going on, till this day. I cannot close my eyes, without being off in vivid dream land. For instance this morning i woke up periodically every 10 -20 minutes, and each time i was out, it felt like a whole day had gone by.

Now the problem is, all these dreams are usually about super stressful situations, id wake up and not know if it was actually real or not. I usually manage to sort this out after a couple minutes of confusion, but the worst part is, no matter how long i sleep, i wake up and wont feel rested. I am always tired, for a while it was a physical fatique that came and went but it was always a mental fatique as well. My mind feels foggy and it feels hard to concentrate at times.

I am convinced that it is my vivid dreaming thats robbing me of my restful sleep. Has anybody had any success with self hypnosis for restful sleep without dreams? I know that its possible, back when i was smoking i Ironically had a deeper sleep and thusly more energy.

can anyone share their methods of self hypnosis with me. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Do go back to your usual smoking if it means restful sleep & no vivid dreams. Your vivid dreams ARE the result of your pot smoking and you’re saying different. It is now legal and you seem to be a perfect candidate. There’s nothing better than using your mind clearly the way it was intended and yours is mixed with real and dreaming. Im not s Doctor snd cannot recommend self hypnosis but I’ve read books and cannot follow it.
