hello, I first started getting PA's 7 years ago and have been on seroxat for about the same amount of time.
Iv'e tried counselling and relaxation therapy, ive read up on the flight or fight response so i know what is physically happening, but nothing seems to work..
Im planning on going travelling at the end of the year to Australia and the South Pacific, question is, how am I going to get the pills and how am i going to handle the flights and situations???????

cheers

Hi Nick,

Seroxat is readily available in most countries and getting it might even be easier in some countries, speak to your GP about your best option they have connections to the international community and will be able to give you the best advice.

I know what you mean when you say nothing seems to work, if you are confident enough to go on this trip then i think you will manage your anxiety effectively as a result. Remember it cant hurt you at any time so there is no reason to be scared, anxious maybe, but not scared.

I have noticed that unless you have a phobia to flying, anxiety levels are quite low, for me, during flights. There are staff onboard who are their to make sure you are comfortable and because there is no escape you tend to submit to this fact from the off.

Hope this helps, consider visiting my site for some other strategies: www.becomeyourself.org.
