actions

would it be reasonable to say that all actions are done so in response to some prerequisite? this would go along with cause and effect except i think of that as more physical than mental. everything we do has a reason. if im bored and i go out to skateboard, im doing that in response to my boredom. if i do something "spontaneously", i do it so that i can experience something without much thought...exciting maybe.

thinking of this now, what types of connections are we able to make to create such actions? how much does subconcious thought play in this? would subconcious thought create actions based on instinctual needs?

just a thought im having. i guess this all ties in with thinking and the conclusions we draw
