Options for uninsured bipolars

Postby ThatRayGuy71 » Wed Oct 12, 2011 3:39 pm

Hey guys. I'm new to the forums. I'm a 40 year old guy that's been diagnosed with bipolar for some time now. This is the first time in the last 15 years that I've been unmedicated and not under the care of a therapist because I don't have medical insurance.

Are there any options out there for people without insurance to continue maintaining their mental health? Interestingly enough, I'm a contractor to a hospital with a mental health system, but I can't afford to pay out of pocket. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
