I've been into hypnosis and other "Therapeutic techniques." For 10 years now. Due to some personal issues and unresolved fears I have not been practicing the "Art" of hypnosis and trance work.
However... over the past 10 years of delving into the various forms of Trance work, EFT, Clinical hypnosis + conversational. (which is my favourite to date)
My Background Came from the convoluted version of hypnosis which I discovered something ain't quite right. when I was involved in "the Charasmatic church setting" I knew it was some form of hypnosis as at that time Paul Mckenna was around doing his TV show. I left that way of life and sorted myself out obtaining skills in NLP, Milton Erickson Model, Stage hypnosis training. All theory no practice.
Until Last 2 weeks. Various hypnosis friends have really helped explain things to me properly that has personally "Released my anxiety" I now know that We as humans are all "Hypnotists" and we influence each other all the time with our language. So been practicing Conversational stuff. Favourite book is from Uncommon knowledge in fact: "Hypnosis Unwrapped."

Hello. My name is Adam. Currently living in central Illinois in the USA. My interest in hypnosis is to break through psychological blocks and reprogram my subconscious to stop letting me sabotage myself and let worry and insecurity ru(i)n my life. I wish I could find a local hypnotherapist. They were easier to find back where I grew up. I feel like the best way to stop most of the issues going on in my head would start with this.

Hi, everyone! I've been interested in hypnosis/trance my whole life and recently bounced back after a bad experience into trying it out again, made a good hypnotist friend and been pretty happy with it since. I do practice it too for fun and self hypnosis for anxiety and headaches and other issues but not the best at it. Thought of creating an account because its one of the few hypnosis forums I see pop up a lot that isn't the run of the mill adult stuff that overshadows normal hypnosis.

Hi!
I'm David, I recently achieved a long held desire (about 20 years) to learn how to hypnotise. I had loads of theory books but could never get round to training one to one. I'm now getting my head around the legal and insurance aspects of it all and looking into venues etc. I have great admiration for you Anthony Jacquin, also Richard Barker, Mike Mandel and Anthony Galie.
I am wondering if there are other London based Hypnotists, I actually live in Croydon, who meet up for skill/idea sharing in this forum. It doesn't seem very active but it's worth asking
