How to get authority in public speaking

I recently wrote an article on Ideal Public speaking.
I was thinking on how a speaker will gain a "voice" over their beliefs.
Then I thought, since the major elements that make a successful public speaker are;
* great verbal authority
* great practical intelligence and
*very good social connection, then there must be a way to possess them.
So I wrote
>"A good speaker reads or listens and examines the view of the people, sorts out the irrelevancies, and weighs all possible interpretations of facts. By doing so, a good public speaker gains authority over his beliefs and convictions or authority over his voice."
In my writing,I realized the importance of being knowledgeable, and having good connection with people by reflecting their thoughts, needs/desires or just accepting all people for who they are. Above all, there must be honesty in your convictions; there lies your integrity.People will support you if they trust you.
So as a speaker "read or listen and examine the view of the people, sort out the irrelevancies, and weigh all possible interpretations of facts."
As a Professional speaker you should not judge issues on the basis of preconception and bias, but rather on careful analysis of facts.
With this you have a power in your voice.
