I need to eat but I can't

Hey everyone, I am 16 and I have had anorexia for 3 years. It's only been the last 8 months or so that people have really noticed it and tried to get me help. I have gone to support groups and a therapist but it doesn't really seem to help much. I don't think I have it really severe like some people do but people are definitely noticing it. One thing that I find really unhelpful is my supposed best friend who says she doesn't understand how I could be this way and that it's stupid and pointless and that I should just eat and she just makes me feel worse. It started because when I was younger I was very chubby and got made fun of so I started eating less to the point where now I only eat dinner to avoid upsetting my parents and then I only eat very little. I know that now I am skinny but I am afraid to start eating more again because I don't want to get fat. My biggest problem now is that I am 11 weeks pregnant and I know I need to eat for my baby to be healthy but I can't make myself do it and on top of that I have really bad morning sickness. I'm so worried but I just don't know what to do! Any advice here would be greatly appreciated. Also sorry if this post is a little confusing. I just joined this site and this is my first post.

This must be a really tough time for you right now. Also congratulations on the pregnancy! I'd advise you speak to your midwife as not eating could harm your baby. She may have some different things to help you have a nice healthy pregnancy.
Have you tried eating small amounts often? Maybe set yourself up a timetable where you eat something say every couple of hours, it could be a slice of toast, a piece of fruit...anything you feel you can manage. When it comes to a meal time, you say you only eat dinner right now, well try eating something similar to the snacks every couple of hours but build it up so that over time you are able to actually call it a meal. As I'm not an expert on this I'd speak to your midwife and doctor before actually making any drastic changes as you really don't want to be risking yourself and your baby right now. I hope I've been able to help you a little. If you would like someone to speak to who's completely no biased and has been through similar...let me know and we can chat over Facebook or something. It's always good to have someone to talk through though problems and especially through pregnancy! I know I could have done with someone!
