I dont know if these two facts are linked, but since I have gone vegetarian straight edge I lost almost all of my aggression and anger and violent tendancies....have you ever heard of the stopping of meat eating doing this?

here in our country we r not only aware of this, but see this fact very closely everyday.
stopping meat directly affects ur mind. eating meat IS violence. a dying animal is vibrating with fear, anger and agony, and when u eat this food u r actually taking in these emotions.
peace is very easy if u r vegetarian.

I wouldn't be too surprised to find this true - changing the food you eat could change what chemicals you get which could lead to behaviour changes, I guess. But I also wouldn't be surprised if it's partly just because you think it's happening that it is happening (what you think can have a lot of power over your behaviour too). That said, I eat all sorts of meat all the time and don't ever get angry/aggressive/violent...

Um, I guess you just meant it as an example, but I'm not sure such a thing matters. Regardless, if going vegetarian seems to make one less violent, I don't see how it could be a bad thing to stay with it, unless the reduced violent tendencies are resulting from malnutrition.
