Hi Again Yessupply. You already made a Post. Why two? Yessupply, this is not like Twitter... you can leave more than 144 characters. But your previous Post discussed the wonders of CBT, which you described as Intellectual Conduct Therapy but is really Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Now you are describing Psychoanalysis, you know, by suggesting that the Therapist is go down the long route of 'locating' the sources for all out negative reactions. NO! That takes YEARS, and what all the Data shows is that KNOWING why we are all Screwed up sometimes only makes the Matters WORSE. Think about it, that if the Mind is TRYING to forget such terrible traumatic stuff, by repressing it, well, DON'T YOU THINK THE MIND HAS A GOOD REASON TO DO SO? For instance, I was watching a movie the other evening and the Character who had just been through a serious trauma said "I can't un-see what I just saw".... well, just let the Mind do it's job and if one is lucky then that memory will REPRESSED and the person can go back to being happy again, right? Yes, there might still be the Unconscious Reactions, but they can be dealt with directly using CBT, [Cognitive Behavioral Therapy]. the very way the Save Time with CBT is by not asking about whether their Mother used a Bullwhip to potty train them or Breast Fed them until they were 14. all that is a distraction and simply might make everything worse, by digging up what is best forgotten. One only needs to Re-Condition what have become nearly automatic responses.

Yeah, since you seem so new to Anger Management that perhaps you can acknowledge that there are things you don't already know, well, take advantage of the Resources we have hear gather up for our Anger Management Forum, particularly my two essays: the longer and more comprehensive one being "Anger Management Short Term and Long Term" and shorter "Making a Better Personality For Yourself", and then read the response I made to your other "Tweet". Yes, have a nice day. You might also consider leaving pithy advice at all the other Forums. We'd love to know your Cure for Depression and Anxiety. l
