SAP Analyst?

Postby geisha123 » Tue Aug 10, 2004 12:39 pm

Hi everyone, I had just had an introductory counselling/therapy session privately and it went very well.

The therapist calls herself a SAP Analyst and I completely forgot to ask her what this means!

She came on recommendation from another psychotherapist.

In the session she brought to me a big bowl of pebbles all different sizes and asked me to place each one in accordance with how I see my extended family and myself. Then she seemed to analise me exactly by where I had placed the pebbles and stones and where I saw myself within my family. I have to say it was very therapautic for me.

Does anyone know what SAP means? I suppose I could phone her, but am just curious if anyone else has heard of this treatment.

Many thanks

Sounds interesting, geisha

When you said it was therapeutic, what did you discover about your relationships with your family, and how did your view of those relationships change?
