booze

Went to see consultant at machwood priory clinic about Panic Attacs.

After 20 mins of talking to me he new what the problem was...Alcohol.
That was On the monday i was booked in on the wed for a weeks de-tox at the priory.

By thursday the panic anxiety had all stoped.

Came out Christmas eve and have stayed off the booze and am back to normal me again.
The main problem was everytime i had a panic attack i drank more and did not know it was the cause of the problem in the first place.

Obv: Im one of the lucky ones i know people who do not drink still suffer but the consultant told me there is always ALWAYS a trigger even though the person may not know it??? (in my case booze)

Without this forum and the panic attack tape i purchased i am not sure if i could have got through the worst 4 months of my life, and only hope i can try and help others. (people who have never sufferd panic attacks will never understand the 100% pure fear we have all been through or are going through)

I am ready to face the world and have been out to pubs, shopping, driving everywere since i got ot of the hospital.
This is not going to help a great deal of people but just hope i can help if i can.

Regards Matt
