Re: 3.8 years...RELAPSE

So it has been just over 2 weeks since my last post. This means I have returned back to smoking weed for a total of 6 weeks. I do start to see some negative effects starting to form in their very early stages but nothing overwhelming or affecting my daily life. As of now the positive effects and aft...

Re: Marijuana-Withdrawal problems at 5 months

I used to experience abnormal heart activity which used to trigger full blown panic attacks. After multiple ECG's, an ultrasound and various other blood work, nothing was found. Heart palpitations and panic attacks are now a common symptom of PAWs and they do subside with time.

Re: 2 years clean of weed

Smoking will be a huge mistake. You'll be adding on months to your recovery clock. Its a minimum 3-5 year process for your mind, body and soul to rewire itself. Don't ruin all the progress you've made for a few hours of feeling high, is that necessary?

Re: 2 years clean

3 years 4 months clean. At this point its literally just autopilot, i've dabbled a couple time with other drugs such as coke or mdma and even then I reject weed. It's something I automatically reject even in moments when perhaps my decision making processes are swayed towards seeking out pleasure. W...

Re: Weed withdrawal - erectile dysfunction

I stopped smoking cigarettes for 6 weeks my heart palpitations stopped and my erectile dysfunction improved. I was unable to test it out in a real life situation but I woke up with morning wood, had good libido and it looked bigger (more blood flow). I've started smoking cigarettes again and yeah ba...

Re: Weed withdrawal - erectile dysfunction

@SparkleFly12 yep, I still struggle with ED and still need ED meds for sex with women. Its annoying as I usually have to plan in advance as I like to take 5mg of cialis at a time instead of 20mg all in one go which makes me flush and have a blocked nose. I never had a problem with ED while smoking, ...

Re: Day 73

My worst panic attacks were within the first 3 months of quitting, as time goes by they lessen in severity. For me personally having a panic attack was not a sign that a PAW's wave was on its way - they were two separate entities. I could have all the nasty stuff from PAWs happen one day and a panic...

Re: Seizure from weed

Over-activity or over-stimulation in the brain can result in seizures. It can't handle all the input and it just malfunctions which ends up in seizure like behaviour. You often see it in professional gamers who game non-stop for hours on end and the sensory overload results in a seizure. Most are be...

Re: Positive stories!

I can relate to being in public or in a normal social setting and suddenly my whole body and mind being washed over by a wave of impeding doom, sudden dread and irrational fear. It can be anywhere from eating a meal with friends to playing a game of pool in a bar. After a while these lessened in int...

Re: 3 months after last cannabis use

Welcome to the battle with the beast, the journey to the underworld, being stuck in the belly of the whale or defeating the dragon once and for all. You are right in the thick of battle right now and the decision you make now are the most vital which will lead to your victory. I quit once, it lasted...

Re: 7.5 months now

In the next three months you will see more improvements as these are key months as you move towards a year. Try stretching and drinking lots of water when a panic attack happens small or big. Stretching so blood rushes to your head is a good way to reset the system, and then end with a nice splash o...

Re: 2 years clean

@Winzu yeah sure man it's Last_Viking3 @Gerre You can check through my first ever post about 5 years ago. I smoked non-stop from 17-25. Carbs/sugar spike cortisol and cortisol plays a role in mood, anxiety and stress levels. But this is something you should look into maybe after a year free of canna...
