Palpitations still plaguing me. If it wasn’t for them l could deal pretty well with the rest. Start month 7...

Re: Marijuana Withdrawal

Don’t let weed steal your life..... “steal” not still. I changed as far as my personality and so I really wanted to quit because I was letting it control me. Sorry about that, I really should proofread these before I submit them.

Re: Marijuana Withdrawal

@ HisokaMorow ; that’s something only you can answer. Is it controlling you. Is your health suffering now, or will it be in the future because what you’re doing to your body now? I’m nobody important, I don’t know much, but I’m 60 years old now and I do know our choices in life in early years have m...

Re: Marijuana Withdrawal

Well, I’m at 7 months quit now. I had muscle twitches and jerking my self awake when I doze off, and cramps, and tingling sensations in my arms. I also experience some anxiety, not as much now. Just mainly heart palpitations and thumping, mainly at rest or laying in bed. I went through dizziness at ...

Re: What to expect when quitting marijuana - PAWS timeline

Michelle, take heart, it gets better. Yesterday I mentioned that in bed upon waking I was having some palpitations. In the past after quitting weed, when I would have these feelings upon waking, they would be all day long, regular throughout the day. Yesterday, after the day went on I only had very ...

Re: What to expect when quitting marijuana - PAWS timeline

@Michellebrowne.25, it’s definitely not just you. If you type “PAWS heart palpitations” in the search box on this forum it will bring up many members who have had this issue. One who had a big issue with this was a member named “Bthizzleinapickle”. If you click on his name it will bring up his post,...

Re: What to expect when quitting marijuana - PAWS timeline

@ Michellebrowne.24, actually the past couple of days mine were a lot better, thanks for asking. Only had a few here and there. However, laying here in bed this morning, at 5:38am, I have already had several, however, I am starting to sleep a little better though. It has been very difficult dealing ...

Re: 80 days clean of weed

@ FriendlyFriend; ....thanks for that. And yes, before I started smoking weed after I retired, I was very contented and at peace. No worries or fears, just mainly relaxed and happy. Thanks again

Re: What to expect when quitting marijuana - PAWS timeline

@ Michellebrowne.24 ; yes, I notice mine usually when I’m sitting reading, or like you said in lying in bed. Sometimes I feel like I can feel them coming on. Man do not take what I said or what anyone one else says on this forum to be the norm. Everyone one is different. What I’m experiencing now my...

Re: my marijuana quit diary

@ Michellebrowne.24, I smoked every day, 7 days a week, staying stoned all day long for 11 months or more. I quit 6 months and 19 days ago. For at least 5 months now I have had palpitations, fast heart rate, and slow heart rate. I also went to the hospital when I first had them, they found nothing. ...

Re: 80 days clean of weed

@HDog455, thanks man, after 6 and a half months this my not even be PAWS. I assume it is just because so many have the same similar symptoms and seem to come out of it eventually. As far as you not retiring, smart move. I didn’t think it through and now I regret it. Being single does not help either...

Re: 80 days clean of weed

You know, before this PAWS stuff, if that’s what it I really is, I was perfectly contented with being alone. I would occasionally be lonely and feel emptiness which would only last a day or part of the day. I don’t know if it’s where I retired a year and 8 months ago, combined with this paws, or if ...
