But does the label help or hinder? Does it give a reason for behaviour and therefore an excuse? One could argue that your wife Stephen has to learn that this behaviour is not acceptable rather than label it. Personal responsibility should not be excused. Should we not be trying to work with the ind...

Hi Stephen, thanks for the reply.. What classifies someone as having a 'disorder' though? Is it when these kind of behaviours and thinking are so ingrained or have been there from a young age? I don't know, I just personally feel that everyone is unique so defining and putting people in boxes maybe ...

Personality disorders?

Are there really such disorders?

Should people be pigeon holed into having these disorders and does that make it worse?

Would be very interested to hear other's thoughts on this?

Hypno fee?

If someone charged £200 for a session of psychotherapy/hypnotherapy... do you think they should offer a money back guarantee?

Hi Megan,

Interesting to read your thought on it... think I am inclined to agree :)

I am not sure about angels and things like that but I have some belief in Reiki and other forms of energy healing.

I'm ok... well not really at the moment...

How are you?

xx

Wise words Karen, thankyou..

I feel I should go with what I feel and what works for me but then theres doubts in my mind that perhaps the professional is right.

But I really don't want to have to go every week for 2 years to be able to sort things :?

Therapy/counselling... how long?

Hi, I used to see a counsellor who I saw once a week. She spoke a lot about my family relationships, past stuff... I guess it was like clearing out all the hurt and understanding things. Feel like I understand my past and why I have become the person I am today. At the time I was very distressed abo...

Hi Karen With the insomnia, my feeling is that just taking the 5HTP may not have a great enough effect without doing other things to get your body and mind a bit more balanced. Like Megan says its eating right is very important and once you start eating regularly- breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks...
