Re: Not Right

Do you drink caffeine? When I stopped caffeine I no longer had bad anxiety and panic attacks. It was around 3 months when I noticed a big improvement.

Re: Poor Circulation?

Persistent cold in extremities is more often a symptom related to a strained/weak/damaged heart, most often associated with age or obesity. Uh uh Richard... It's PAWS. Trust me, it HAS to be. Mocking someone while they’re actively trying to better themselves and going through struggles while doing ...

Re: Quitting long term weed am I going crazy

It will get better, it will just take time. I smoked weed for around 23 years and when I stopped I thought I was losing my mind too. I think the strength of the weed now has something to do with how bad some of us experience withdrawals. You’ve just got to carry on doing what you’re doing, take each...

Re: Quitting long term weed am I going crazy

I found valerian root tea helped me sleep (the pure raw cut up root). It doesn’t work for everyone but it’s worth ago. There has been studies done on it that has proven it to help aid sleep.

Re: Is this depression / what should I do?

I’m currently trying to give up caffeine, it’s been around two weeks, Barr two cups of tea a week ago. I resonate with some of what you say, in my teens and twenties I too used to be social and now I struggle, I started a new job a couple of months ago and feel awkward in conversation, I have to for...

Re: weed PAWS and social life - general question

I'm kinda with Julia on this, "Social encounters are not a top priority" with me either. I also used to, still do! suffer with low self esteem, I am Improving but know it will take time. I used to have many acquaintances, but no true friends (I never revealed the real me), I then became is...

Re: Off weed 3 months

I don't think it's a lack of water see i cut out all junk food/drinks Does that include alcoholic drinks? And do you smoke cigarettes? Has anyone that's quit long enough to feel normal again noticed any difference in how their eyes looked at different stages? Three months is still relatively early,...

Re: Quitting weed for good, my story

Also went on the ketogenic diet a few days ago so maybe that has something to do with it. Yeah, that could make you feel a little off at first. I went ketogenic for a while, after the first couple of weeks it gave me more energy and then I started to feel on a high, It made my thyroid issues worst ...

Re: Finding my True Self

Yes, you don't need your 'friend' making your abstinent more difficult. He is just taking from you (from what you have said) and not respecting your boundaries or your decision to move forward with your life. He isn't your problem, your future will be if you don't take control. Direct him to a profe...

Re: Finding my True Self

I haven't heard of any of them, I might have a look at a few online when I get a chance, out of curiosity, never know some may even take my interest, I'm always looking for new books to read. Yeah, I agree that some of Stephen Kings can be predictable now, the same as Dean Koontz, writers can get li...

Re: Finding my True Self

Yes, I love reading. My father started collecting sci-fi books in the 1950s, and my parents bring me a box or two each time they come to see me. I've currently got several hundred unread books, so I'm not going to run out that quickly! :) What kind of sci-fi books? I read some sci-fi occasionally, ...

Re: Finding my True Self

That said, it's been a while since I've read any fiction, and I decided several weeks ago that I'd start catching up on all the non-fiction volumes that I've got. Since then, I've had my nose stuck in a book at least once a day. Hi Juila, Yep, I read a lot of non-fiction too, though I prefer to lea...

Re: Finding my True Self

Hi Julia You seem deep in your thoughts at present, over analysing all that crosses your mind. I used to be the same. When you've been off the weed continuously for a few months you'll spend less time deep in thought, I'm not saying you'll become shallow, but over analysing anything and everything i...
