Congratulations

When I first quit and honestly thought I would never need to eat or sleep again. Eventually it returns but it may take a couple of weeks. When you feel bad drink some water and it should make you feel a bit better.

Keep us updated.....

I agree with Bucspasm here. It is a familiar situation to most potheads I think. Lying about being interested in people but really hoping they can give you something good. I've sat there for 3 hours, listening to crap, waiting to say 'any of that for sale?'. It makes you feel bad sure enough. I woul...

Hi Chris I'm 37, professional musician and writer, with teeth issues, loving partner, and shame/fear/embarrassment issues that consumed me when I was 'high'. I gave up 15 months ago but lapsed a bit last year but have been clean for 3 months now. I think it's out of my life now but it's been a strug...

Yes I was surprised a little by that too. But not surprised that the health scares put around during the nineties seem to be unfounded. Seems to be the typical reaction of society to any new drug. It's a moral position more than anything else. Not advocating MDMA use btw, just observing. I don't kno...

I listened to this and it's very inconclusive. In brief: most regular users report being ok (with some STM damage but highly subjective) and a 'freak' case (extremely high use of E and MJ) with permanent STM damage. A few doctors are interested in the beneficial effects of MDMA. That's it really. No...

I've known 3 people well that used heroin. A guy I work with smoked for about five years and never progressed to injecting. I once asked him wasn't it the natural progression to 'want more' and move to needles. He said no, that was just for the very self-destructive of which he wasn't one. He gave u...

economics

I don't smoke skunk anymore (been off it for 13 months now) but wanted to ask a question out of interest (and to make me feel good about not being dependent anymore). Has the price really gone up a lot recently on the streets? Is there a proper 'drought' on? Thought someone here with more experience...

implant?

A good friend of mine was using for 5 years. Lost everything nearly. 5 months ago he got an implant (not sure what it's called, maybe begins with 'N"?) and he hasn't used since. Seems to work for him but I don't have anymore info than that I'm afraid.

Here's one I appreciate on the subject of music. It's very hard to sing in tune or tune a guitar when stoned. I used to be in a band an d we were all permastoned and tuning could take forever. Having given up the deceptive weed all of that problem has dissappeared now. (It's been a year since I post...

Don't get into mixing these 2 drugs. I did so for years and it's no good. I think you'll be the same as me in that Social Anxiety came on as an effect of smoking weed. Some people are susceptible this way. The doctor then put me on SSRIs to alleviate the symptoms (I was go thru hell at the time) and...
