Re: 2 years on...

@Lefttheleaf many thanks for all your help and encouragement. Meditation is going well. Will update more later. Best to you. I’m pleased to hear that. Remember to not expect anything from sitting in silence. It’s good for nothing and really is nothing special. The rewards come in our daily life and...

Re: 2 years on...

Thank you! If you don't mind me asking, your initial post said you experienced anxiety induced psychosis? Can you describe this experience? Just because like I said, I've been worried that that happened to me as well but I don't know if it was psychosis or just extreme anxiety I can’t say it would ...

Re: 2 years on...

Thank you! I'm so happy you replied, not alot of people are still active on here. I'm glad you are doing better, it sounds like the experience taught you a lot. Like I said I'm just under 6 months into this journey, it all started right when my daughter was born, I quit cold turkey after a series o...

Re: 2 years on...

Glad you are doing better! I read your story and it's EXACTLY what I've been going through. Started with an intrusive thought, "kill yourself", I panicked, and it was all down hill from there. Horrible intrusive thoughts about violent things involving my family and sh** that horrified me ...

Re: 2 years on...

@Head In Loud I'm right there with you, symptoms are still present every day but better than before. And one puff messed me up, if you look at my posts from 2018. I think it is different for everyone. @lefttheleaf sleep is bad for me, I get the same anxiety before during and after. Did mediation he...

Re: 2 years on...

Hey I had a lot of fatigue too and it lasted about a year more or less. It was mainly during the day and then at night I would struggle to sleep. How far into being clean from smoking are you and how heavy was your usage? What I experienced was very intense dreams and anxiety before during and after...

Re: 2 years on...

Thank you, just wanted to say I've been doing meditation for a few days and it is helping again. Averaging 15 minutes per day, plan on keeping it going, and up the time spent meditating. I still struggle with the anxiety and depression too, I had a bad wave of depression the other day but it only l...

Re: 2 years on...

Yes you are right. That should be enough incentive. PAWS is like PTSD and the anxiety flares up in triggering situations. I seem to have a revolving door of symptoms, right now its GI issues. I will be meditating the next few weeks and hopefully it changes. Also read that it shrinks your amygdala (...

Re: 2 years on...

I would like to do more meditation. For some reason it wont let me send a PM so I'll write you here. I am a little over 2 years and am struggling a bit again. I start meditation and then after a couple weeks I stop lol. I need incentive to keep going because when I do it I feel SO much better. Cong...

Re: 1 year on

That’s cool man. I’m happy for you to disagree. The reason for me posting was to pass on some pointers that significantly helped me. I don’t know your story or who you are. And I don’t need to. We all have our own paths to walk. There’s a lot of anger and upset on this board in regard to the positio...

Re: Triggers PAWS depression

I notice I have triggers for my depression when it comes to PAWS and they've been bothering me today. I just posted that I deal with fuzzy vision. I also deal with fatigue and insomnia and the terrible anxiety even at work. I get depressed because I'll never go as far as I used to think and I've be...
