Re: Day 10 of not smoking.

Think about how hard the first couple of days were. Sometime it takes a while to see how far you have come. I remember 3 months in where I thought that there was no progress, but then I looked back at how I left after 1 month and it was obvious. Keep at it!

Re: Marijuana withdrawal is killing me help

The Nausea vomitting and cold sweats tend to dissipate after a few days. Marijuana withdrawal panic attacks are pretty common, but can freak you out the first time that you have them. I clearly remember mine. Cold sweat, heart racing, and the shakes. Just crazy.

Re: Benefits of being off weed

My Top Benefit:

"Freedom". When I quit, I didn't have to worry about smoking, hiding smoking, finding time to smoke etc.

Re: weed PAWS and social life - general question

I've seen PAWS take anywhere from 3 months to a 18 months or so. Long term weed smoking changes the brain. The area that processes emotion tends to be smaller in chronic smokers. But the brain can change, it just takes time. Some of the people who smoke and get addicted to weed have self-esteem, tra...

Great Job Actualizing Intent. You are over the hardest part. Just plan on being a bit grumpy. Make sure you take care of yourself and exercise well and you are on your way.

Re: 6 Months in!

Congrats on 6 months.

[url=http://quitmarijuana.org/marijuana-withdrawal-panic-attack/]Panic attacks from withdrawal[url] can be brutal. Things do get better. Part of it is dealing with the emotions, and part of it is figuring out what 'normal' is after being stoned for so long.

Re: 8 months and still struggling

Benzo withdrawal can be really serious, you may wish to speak to your doctor about tapering off of them if you are unable to sleep without them. What type of exercise regime are you on?

Re: Weed depersonalization cbd

There are also CBD capsules available that have a fixed amount of CBD. High CBD strains are making a comeback for medical purposes. There is still THC in those strains so be careful when trying a new one, and try to use as little as possible. More doesn't always equal better. This is a good resource...

Re: 8 months today!

Great Job.

The PAWS will fade over time. Your brain and mind are healing every day that you don't smoke and getting back to baseline. Congratulations on your 8 months. Stay Vigilant!

Video Canadians can watch

Hi All,

I just ran across a documentary called "The Downside of High" by David Suzuki. You can do a google search to find it, but I think it's only available to people in Canada.

I found it interesting, it looks at marijuana and psychosis.

Re: I regret I tried weed

Hey Pip,

did you ever feel anxious or depressed prior to smoking for the first time. Does any of your immediate family have mental health issues? When was the last time you smoked?

Re: Meltdown

Hey WaveafterWave, I know you are feeling like you are in a tough spot. Writing is very therapeutic. I encourage you to keep up with your journal and write about all of the things you are feeling as you go through the process. The most important thing is to truly commit to quitting and know that whi...

Re: Paying attention to your dreams.

Nightmares are very common when you quit smoking weed. You may notice that when you smoke a lot, you don't dream very much at all. It's also common to have dreams of smoking weed, even though you don't in real life. I still have vivid dreams of years ago. I agree with furtive, dreams can be interpre...

Re: Booking a coaching session

I would be interested - if you are looking to grow or create a coaching business, I recommend you come up with a list of benefits that a recipient would receive by taking your coaching. Skype based coaching can work well. I'd want to know what we would discuss or what types of things you are an expe...
