You asked 'what is wrong with this, can you explain?' and I explained. I didn't think you needed the whole thing printed out again so I abbreviated it but it did not change the context (unlike changing switching on to switching off  ) and it did not change my explanation. Your argument has al...

"We advice diet not because we conclude that diet is the root factor"......You cannot conclude it because you cannot prove it. "rather we believe it". Mica - this is not a rational argument... it is as rational as religion!!!! They cannot conclude there is a god. They believe it ...

[ Empty Star, I didn't say there is no proof that diet is main cause, I said I can't conclude that diet is main problem over internet. Please read my posts carefully. l In all honesty Mica it is you who need to write your posts carefully if you feel you are being misunderstood. Perhaps refrain from...

You probably just have a bug of some sort but if you don't feel better soon a trip to the doctors would be my advice. I had similar symptoms once and it turned out to be an ear infection and I needed anti biotics.

Hope you feel better soon!! X

Vixtrix, do you try to understand my posts, or do you just read them mechanically? If nutrition is not the cause, although this can't be proved to be the case in any individual, it will be much more difficult, if not impossible, to help people with mental problems. The cause is then unknown. The th...

I'm afraid there is a significant difference Mica. I never mentioned 'switching off' - Jurple said that I was 'switching off' my panic as I left the motorway. I said I have been taught to CONTROL my panic. There is a big difference between bringing panic on (switching on as Jurple called it) and bei...

Switch on panic Mica - not switch off!. As in to wind yourself up because a situation is approaching. You haven't 'reframed' it... you have completely twisted it!! This thread began because Werty was wondering where the old posters were - if we were 'fixed' or not. It was merely an inquisitive quest...

Mica I have always agreed with Jurple that diet can be a contributing factor with regards to anxiety. We have had many debates about it and I have read many of his articles and links. So I don't think I am blindly dismissing his opinion and I don't think I am contradicting myself by remembering that...

Oh and the reasons I started to suffer from panic and anxiety was the mental anguish I experienced while watching my strong, larger than life father die a slow death over 3 years and when he finally died I was so absolutely and horrrendously distraught that it felt like I couldn't breath properly an...

This thread has reminded me of one of the reasons I stopped coming to this site, the constant bickering of 'I'm right and you're wrong' - you haven't changed one bit Jurple!!! My actual wording was 'almost voluntarily' as I was trying to describe the sensation of motorwary driving. I was not i...

Jurple The idea that someone can switch on panic is surely not that unheard of - it is merely the fight or flight reaction. For some bizarre reason my brain has registered the motorway (and queues in supermarkets) as a reason to be afraid and instinctively switches on the fight or flight adrenalin r...
