I don't think confidence should be derived from things that are ego based, such as comparing your success or status relative to others or drawing confidence from accomplishments but I guess thats just the way it is.

Lets say a guy that is the boss of a big company, he will be confident in dealing with employees, people etc and he will have knowledge about whichever field or particular business he is running. Is it imprints from when they were growing up?, experiences that shaped their personality? Or is it genetic, or both? I lacked confidence when I was younger...

I think you're still very young and have lots of time to make friends. There are people out there that are non judgmental and will be your friend because you're a good person. Practice is also important, the more you socialize, the better you will be. Its like working a muscle, the more you work it ...

I happen to believe that fear of death is a possible result of the feeling that you have not lived life to the fullest yet. You have things you want to do, see, experience and death would rob you of all that. It might just be my little theory, I'm not a doctor or anything and I'm sure different peop...

Whats the difference between Codeine and Herion? I almost had a Codeine addiction, I really enjoyed the effects but the reason I couldn't do it anymore was the side effect of severe constipation, it can be very dangerous to be that blocked up. I've even heard of people who needed to go to the hospit...

My answer would be, anxious co-dependence, in other words, mistaking neediness for love.. Letting go can be as simple as it sounds, just let go. Take a pen or any object and hold it in front of you firmly, then just release it and watch it fall to the ground. This will prove to you that letting go i...

I don't think anyone should take facebook too seriously, its just meant to make it easier to stay in touch with people you know. I only have true friends on there that I see in real life and if they happen to be having fun, doing things, etc, I would just be happy for them.
