No, i'm not really seeking agreement from anyone, just some care & consideration. I get upset when people take "politically correct" attitudes towards dealing with anger that offer no safeguard to the vulnerable in the situation.

I'm sticking with zero tolerance.

Get out of this situation and find someone who loves you and the kids. Otherwise later in life you will regret it. Or take a serious step and have him arrested if the need be!.....Don't hesitate! One of the confusing parts about angry people is that anger is NOT the opposite of love. Often times, p...

Ohhhh, I should probably not have said that!! No it was a thing about violence to kids, brought back a bit of childhood stuff  :) Having said that, it's up to me what I read, people should post whatever they need to here. It just highlighted I was a bit more "fragile" than I thought...

Hiya & catchup?

Hi everyone who's been a help since christmas, thanks for being there. I hit a bit of a wall for a week, so I've been out of the way. Lots of anger & crying, not much getting done  Ah well, buggrit! Feeling calmer now. It's bizarre, it was a post on here that kind of dropped me back in a pi...

Nobody other than you, Kotinka, has mentioned opiates at all as far as I can see. Amprox certainly didn't.

codeine, tramadol and morphine are opiate based analgesics - I thought this was common knowledge.

for new users, the technique is a little transparent but if you give it a good shot it can help change your mind. Don't be cynical :-)

this would be great advice if there was not a child in the situation. With a 5 year old at home they can't afford to "lose their way" and try again repeatedly.

Hi, I hope you realise that your responsibility is to the child who can't protect himself and not to the adult who is behaving badly. Your husband has a CHOICE about what he does & he is being a bully. If he wants to vent he ought to go for a run or go to a bar & pick on someone his own size...

Clocodile, you're talking rubbish here. My boyfriend just had an operation and was prescribed codeine, paracetamol and ibuprofen. The hospital sent him away with absolutely tons of the things - he's barely touched them. Where do you live? Guessing not the UK. Also, my boyfriend tells me that codein...

hiya, the euphoria & mellowness of opiates only lasts a few weeks. Then you get the side effects. Coming off them is hard too. I'm just off to bed, & can write more tomorrow, but I just wanted to let you know it's a bad plan.

back soon
