Re: t frustrates me because no guys might accept me for how

When you say unattractive do you mean on the outside or on the inside? Because what really matters is inner attractiveness.

Re: Developing Personal Power

Affirmations are important but they don't work without taking an action. I am all for using affirmation and have been doing it myself for years, just be aware of the action part that is a must.

Guess what? wrote:Any tips?

Have you tried meditation? It doesn't have to be too scientific, just focusing on something for long periods of time and bringing your attention back to this thing when it wonders.

Have you heard/tried morning rituals? How does your morning look like? Do you use affirmations, imagination, visualization?

Re: Lost in life and myself

What about interruptions? As in, smart phone, TV, checking emails, switching from one thing to another, worrying, thinking about the past of future, etc.

How would you describe your average day?

Lots of interruptions? if so, what kind of interruptions?

Re: Emotional Intelligence

Yes, having high EQ is very important. Here is an interesting thought: while EQ is crucial in the workplace or in running a business, IQ is also important to solve problems. Do you agree with that?

Re: time goes by

If worries are your main concern I would recommend a different step then: read Dale Carnegie's "How To Stop Worrying And Start Living Book" - helped me a lot years ago. That's probably one of the best books out there. Or any book by Louise Hay will be good as well.

Re: time goes by

Sorry I can't post links as I am a new member. But just google or even YouTube Bob Proctor and his goal setting system. Something like: "Bob Proctor goals setting" I have been doing it myself for ages, can't believe where I am now, can't believe what kind of person I used to be years ago b...

Re: time goes by

Scary in terms of achieving it. When you think I really want to go for it but there is no way I can achieve it. You simply don't believe it's possible.

But then we go into the whole world of re-programming mind paradigms and changing self-limiting beliefs.

Re: time goes by

These are good goals, but as per Bob Proctor's and Earl Nightingale's definition they are not huge. Here is how these 2 authors define huge goals: a huge goal must scare and exhilarate you at the same time. If it doesn't excite you - not a huge goal. Not scary? Still not good. The next question is: ...

Re: time goes by

Why hobby and not a huge goal?

What I learnt from Bob Proctor is that setting huge goals is the only way to live a meaningful and happy life.

Try Earl Nightingale's The Strangest Secret. I had to listen to it 3 times to get it. And never looked back. Hope that helps.

Re: highly sensitive to criticism

Have you read Mindset by Carol Dweck? She explains the difference between a growth mindset and a fixed mindset. Can you relate to this: When you fail at something: 1) You get angry 2) You judge (yourself and/or others) 3) You try to find the reasons for failure and justify it 4) Then you feel better...

Re: How to master the Art of Speaking in Public?

As Dale Carnegie said in his wonderful book have something good to say. When you have a great message your delivery doesn't matter. You will connect to the audience because they will sense your authenticity.
