Re: Coming up on 6 months clean off weed

Hey powerofmymind. I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I haven’t been on here for a while mainly cause I started working 55+ hours a week. Update I’m about 7.5 months in now. Since my last post my mornings have tremendously improved. But I’m far from finished with this fight. A few things t...

Coming up on 6 months clean off weed

Hello friends, hope everyone is doing okay. I’m roughly a week away from hitting my 6 months mark. It’s been a crazy experience and unfortunately still fighting to get back to “normal.” Anxiety persists, depression daily, low motivation, lack of confidence, lack of joy, and just being socially awkwa...

Re: 4.5 months

Yeah I don’t miss smoking. I miss feeling okay to do everyday things tho. I guess you are one of the lucky ones that never had to experience paws... like myself in my first quit.

Re: 4.5 months

I agree with you that a lot of this is anxiety but I’ve never had anxiety last nearly 5 months straight. Depression, feeling/looking exhausted, very low joy and almost constant intrusive thoughts as well. From the advice I’ve been given and the information online it does sound like paws which comes ...

Re: 4.5 months

Tokeless, thanks for the response. I do agree that this is not a great train of thought. While smoking I did not mind doing my own thing and spending the day alone. That totally changed these last few months. Unfortunately during my quit seems to be when I’ve lost a majority of my friends(due to mos...

Re: 4.5 months

I am praying for those better days winzu. These past 3 days have been extra rough on me, hence the reason I posted. A little side story - Recently the 1 friend I’ve been hanging out with thru this process got a girlfriend and he’s gone MIA. I believe this is contributing to a heavy wave of paws due ...

Re: 4.5 months

Hi there! Congrats on 4.5 months! I’m currently going on 3.5 and have similar symptoms. I think once the physical symptom subside it’s truly a mental game. I struggle just getting out of the house. Thankfully I work from home right now but I have to go back into the office in the next few months wh...

Re: 4.5 months

4.5 months is a lot of clean time but PAWS can last years. I think in your case you will start feeling better sooner than later because you are getting enough sleep and exercising. Also, other than the anxiety, tiredness, and depression, (which suck) you are not experiencing other symptoms. That is...

Re: 4.5 months

This is PAWS for sure. Hold on, after 6-7 months it became a lot easier for me. Have you also tested your T levels? Winzu! Not sure what happened, I responded to you but it looks like it didn’t post. Just noticed. I’ve actually been following your story these last few months so nice to hear from yo...

Re: 4.5 months

I think working definitely helps considering it keeps your brain busy. This is actually one of the reasons I quit smoking. I was starting a new job in a professional setting and wanted to have mental clarity going into it. Did not work out that way. I’m not worried about missing the opportunity, I’l...

Re: 4.5 months

Hey wewilldothis, the day after my quit I had night sweats, insomnia, extreme anxiety, and tinnitus for about 2 weeks. Felt better for maybe a week then all the other symptoms I mentioned surfaced. I also want to mention alot has changed since my quit. I Feel like it was so easy to hangout with frie...

4.5 months

4.5 months clean from a 10 year weed binge. Main issues are - - pretty bad depression, negative thoughts, tired eyes (like I just smoked a fat dab), anhedonia, loss of personality, and anxiety. Another weird thing is I usually go to bed feeling okay but wake up extremely anxious and depressed. It’s ...

3.5 months

Well after about a month of reading different stories, Here I am posting my own. First things first, this forum is a life saver. I remember telling my friend that I had no idea what was going on with me; about a month after I quit smoking. If it weren’t for this forum I’d probably think I’d be stuck...

Re: Stiff muscles when waking up

Hey Winzu,
I’m 3.5 months in. Have noticed the exact same thing for the last 2 weeks. No motivation when I wake up, fatigued, muscle tightness, and even a lot of anxiety first thing in the morning. It blows and I can’t wait for it to pass. You’re not alone
