Re: About 2 months quit weed...

1 year update (plus a few days)... Never thought I would ever be off weed this long, especially not during my smoking days when I justified it by being a functional stoner. My head has never been clearer. My decision making is top notch. I don't crave for it at all anymore. I see others, especially ...

Re: What to expect when quitting marijuana - PAWS timeline

Jalakee, congrats on over 2 years. So many can only wish they were in your shoes, including myself. However you're feeling now, I'm sure it can't compare to the first few months of pain. From reading the experiences of others in here, you are so close to victory. It seems PAWS likes to sneak back fo...

Re: About 2 months quit weed...

Month 7 Wasn't going to update till next month, but I've been on a roll so why not. Nearly no more teeth grinding or sudden jaw contractions. Such a relief to no longer feel tightness in jaw and mouth. Depression, anxiety, and negative thoughts much, much milder (10-15%). Used to battle these things...

Re: About 2 months quit weed...

Month 6 update I am so done with weed. After 20 something years, I've gotten high enough to last me two lifetimes.  Still working on getting better sleep and beating insomnia, along with dealing with depression and anxiety. But doing so much better now than in the beginning. Currently getting a max ...

Re: About 2 months quit weed...

5 month update: Still absolutely no desire to smoke up at all. Enjoying my sobriety from weed to the fullest. Sounds corny but it's true. Have remained off all other street drugs throughout this process as well. Had three "using" dreams. The third time was brownies that I made myself and c...

Re: What to expect when quitting marijuana - PAWS timeline

I should probably add tittinus, eye floaters, and blurred vision to the list of paws symptoms that can occur in the first 3 or so months.

Re: What to expect when quitting marijuana - PAWS timeline

Distortedsoul, I suffered an anxiety attack recently that lasted for a few hours and it was not fun. The feeling of being so easily subdued by it is scary. I was out driving and doing errands when it happened. I had to pull over a few times to let it pass. I didn't make it to all my errands lol. Thi...

Re: About 2 months quit weed...

Try relaxation methods before bedtime. I work out using dumbbells before bed and massage my head and brain minutes before sleeping these things helps. Also create a sleeping routine. Thanks for the tips, Prycejosh1987. Creating a sleeping routine has helped me the most. Although it was hard creatin...

Re: 2 years clean

Glad to hear you've recovered, Tokes. Would you say it was consistently tough though those 1.5 years or did it ramp down at all? Did it get much easier from 1.5 years to 2 years 8 months?

Re: What to expect when quitting marijuana - PAWS timeline

Leavepawsbehind, congrats on almost 3 years! Wow, cannot wait to get there. Was it worth it the trip?

DistortedSoul, how would you compare your current month 7 to say, month 3 or so?

Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving y'all!

Re: What to expect when quitting marijuana - PAWS timeline

I'm sorry you feel so negative about this post, Tokeless. But it would seem that you're injecting something into it that doesn't exist. I've also seen you start conflict in other threads before. So I just hope the best for you in your quit. God bless! Not at all. I have a right to question advice o...

What to expect when quitting marijuana - PAWS timeline

I used to think people in this forum who quit marijuana were just being overly dramatic, overthinking it, and giving too much attention to PAWS (Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome). Boy was I wrong. Too often, people think quitting weed is easy because it is quite easy -- that is, in the first 2 weeks. ...
