Is it esotheric to read about "past live memories" ?

I do not want to sound unscientific, but may I ask "are all questions regarding alleged past-live memories allready solved?"

There was this child who remebered details of an airplane base near Japan, in the second world war.

Are there scientific answers?

Conspiracy Psychology: Lost Lionheart Painting

Is it a cospiracy theory (just from the psychological standpoint) or could there really be a missing painting of Richard the Lionheart hanging in the Neuberg Abbey ?

Why would it be in Germany or Austria instead of Great Brittain, and why in an Abbey of a very small town?

What is the newest break-through in psychology?

My daughter asked me, once we were talking about discoveries in astrophysics, if there were any break-throughs in the field of psychology recently. I could not answer it. There are a lot of books written, but what is new?
