Re: THC withdrawal sickness

I have been using cannabis on and off for many, many years. I have stopped for different reasons at different times for years at a time. We all know, if you've tried to give it up, that there are painful withdrawal symptoms because you are changing your brain chemistry and the brain runs the show. I...

Re: My Journey from Lost to Found

I made it! One year! It seemed like a long time as I took the journey one day at a time, but giving up cannabis was indeed a good decision for me. It was not easy and it still is not easy all the time, but it absolutely does get easier. Anything worth having is worth fighting for. What I do know is ...

Re: 6 months in

PAWS...I feel everyones’ misery in regard. I try to cling to the times when I’m feeling okay and keep telling myself that it will pass. It always does but it is so hard to get through the battle when it hits. It is helpful to know that many of you are fighting the same battle because I know I’m not ...

Re: My Journey from Lost to Found

Thank you for commenting. I was curious or I wouldn't have given it a go on Sunday. My life is better without the bud and it is good to know that I made the right choice for me. I used to have a lot of frontal lobe headaches when I smoked and after I quit that headache lingered for months. The morni...

Re: My Journey from Lost to Found

Oh dear. I fell off the wagon this week after 10 months. I'm so disappointed in myself and I didn't feel good at all after having a toke. That is the good news. Today is a new day and a slip certainly does not negate all the months of being cannabis-free. I didn't like how I felt at all and that sur...

Re: My Journey from Lost to Found

Hi Bullfrog. I'm in my tenth month now and things are much better. I've had some stressful situations, as is life, but managed to stay the course. For the most part, I don't think about taking a toke but when I do, I remember that if I succumb because I'm not comfortable with my feelings, it won't c...

Re: My Journey from Lost to Found

Thought I'd check in today and see how everyone is doing. I'm just coming up to 8 months weed-free and I hardly think about it anymore. It wasn't easy to get to this place and I had a few very rocky intervals throughout the summer with stressful situations arising, but didn't give in. I'm so glad I ...

Re: 6 months in

You are remarkable and courageous. I’m coming up on six months and I agree that it does get better, but even today I was fantasizing about sitting in the beautiful day having a puff. It isn’t an easy thing. I cannot imagine putting myself through this withdrawal again. I agree with you about the dur...

Re: Day 13

Hahaha, oh yeah. Had a week of nausea and then it switched, but we don’t get rid of a bad habit, we replace it with something else. In my case, I think it had been eating.

Re: My Journey from Lost to Found

3 months today. Twelve long weeks but never long enough, it seems. I should be proud of myself but I’m worn out with the headaches and sleep problems and I’m feeling lost and angry. I have no regrets about getting clean and I dont want to get back to being a stoner, but I sure do wish I felt more in...
